Now this seems like it would be a kid recipe (which it can be!), but my husband actually requests these OO at once a week for his lunch for work! OO are great for meal prepping and also easy to transport and eat anywhere. I am actually writing this recipe right now for my husband who is on the road for work so he can meal prep for work next week! This recipe bascially tastes like your eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in a bowl, but with added nutrients. SO GOOD!!

Ingredients

Base:
1/2 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oatmeal
2 Scoops Protein Powder (optional)*
3/4 Cup Almond Milk (+ 1/4 Cup if using protein powder)
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Chia Seeds
Toppings:
1 Tbsp Jelly of your Choice**
1 Tbsp Peanut Butter
1/2 Chopped Banana
1/3 Cup Chopped Strawberries
1/3 Cup Bluberries
2 Tablespoon Chopped Peanuts***

1. Oats & Protein Powder
2. Almond Milk, Maple Syrup, Vanilla, Chia Seeds & Shake
3. Peanut Butter & Shake Vigorously

Let’s Make It!

Make the base at least the night before or up to 5 days. Combine the oatmeal, almond milk, peanut butter, vanilla, maple syrup and chia seeds in a mason jar or airtight tupperware. Shake or mix to combine all ingredients. You can also add the toppings at this time to make for easier meal prepping in order to grab and go. Place in the refrigerator overnight.

You can also add the toppings before you are ready to eat your oats. Top your oats with jelly, banana, strawberries, blueberries and chopped nuts. Enjoy!

Notes

*Protein Powder– Protein powder is always optional when I include it in my recipes. I am always trying to find different recipes to add protein to in order to switch it up; although, these recipes are equally delicious without the protein. For this recipe I used Strawberries & Cream, but you can also use vanilla.
**Jelly– I like to use Strawberry jelly, but I do switch it up depending on what we have in the house.
***Nuts– I like chopped peanuts or I also use chopped pecans as well, which is my favorite. To get the most out of the texture of the crunchy nuts, add the nuts when you are ready to eat, if possible.
