I like to consider myself a good cook and a pretty good baker. I like to experiment in the kitchen to make things taste good and look pretty, but for some reason sourdough always intimidated me. On the other and, my search for good baked goods without added preservatives and seed oils was starting to annoy me, so I finally got into the sourdough game! Once I got the hang of it, it was a game changer! It happens to be the best thing that has happened to my family, and you guys, lol! Try my Homemade CLEAN Baked Goods!

BACKGROUND

When I became a nutrition coach is when I started to read the ingredients of every label. I started to understand the meaning of different ingredients and what was good and bad for our health. It is so important to know what we are putting into our bodies, especially for our littles. That is why I have started to make so many of our household items.

I have done extensive research on the brands I use in our house in order to understand where their food is sourced, certifications from third parties, and protocols they use when processing their food items. I have gone as far as emailing the companies to verify their systems and certifications.

For the sourdough baked goods, I nothing but the best ingredients, such as organic bread flour and all purpose flour, my water is RO filtered, and the salt I use is high quality sea salt. With the sourdough baked goods that use more ingredients, these are all organic as well. Anything that is an animal product, such as milk, eggs, or butter are all pasture-raised and/or grass fed as well.

For the protein breads and muffins, I have gone through multiple protein powders to find the right one.

  1. I reached out to all the companies for the CoA’s to ensure they do not have traceable amounts of heavy metals, mold, yeast or salmonella and ensured their protein content was third party tested for accuracy.
  2. I also ensured all the ingredients are clean – they do not include gums, natural or artificial flavors, or bad oils that you find in most protein powders.
  3. Lastly, I made sure to research how they sourced their protein and how their cows were treated. It is important to know the cows are free range and grass fed.

To reach an event higher standard, my kitchen is a non-toxic kitchen. I only use wood, stainless, steel, ceramic, or cast iron. I NEVER use a microwave. To top is off my cleaning products are also non-toxic, including my kitchen sprays, dish soap, and cleaning utensils.

I cook with a high standard for my family and I. I hold our health in the highest regard and I will do the same for you as well! That is why I have started to sell my food to people that are looking for high quality food without the effort. I got you!!
