Since I have been on my cut I have had three goals:
1) To remain within my calorie deficit.
2) To eat high protein meals and snacks.
3) Create desserts that include 1 & 2, because I have such a gnarly sweet tooth!
It’s a great way to get the rest of your protein in after dinner, as well as fruit (carbs), if you haven’t had a lot of fruit for the day – which is usually my problem.
Berry Chocolate Chip
Cottage Cheese Bowl
This is one of my favorites!! It’s so good- it’s light, low calorie and a good dose of natural protein.
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Good Culture Low-Fat Cottage Cheese
- 1 Tsp Honey
- 1/2 Cup Strawberries
- 1/3 Cup Blueberries
- 1 Tbsp Raw Pepita Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Lily’s Dark Chocolate Baking Chips
Let’s Make It!
Put your cottage cheese in a bowl. Drizzle honey on top of the cottage cheese. Add the strawberries and blueberries. Top with pepita seeds and chocolate chips. ENJOY!

Caramelized Peach Crumble

This one is the jam, because peaches are in season!! I could have just chopped a peach up and thrown it on top of some cottage cheese, but I felt like getting fancy!
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Good Culture Low-Fat Cottage Cheese
- 1/2 Medium Peach
- Drizzle of Maple Syrup
- Sprinkle of Cinnamon
- 1/4 Cup Granola
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Walnuts
- Optional Toppings: blueberries, Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips
Let’s Make It!
Brush maple syrup and a dash of cinnamon on the flesh of 1/2 of a peach. Put the peach in the air fryer at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes, or until lightly browned and caramelized.
Put the peach in a bowl and top with cottage cheese, granola, walnuts, a drizzle of maple syrup, and sprinkle of cinnamon.

Strawberry Shortcake

I was craving some sort of protein ball and cottage cheese concoction and so I came up with this bombness! See my Strawberry Shortcake Protein Ball Recipe here. I made these protein balls into cookies and crumbled them on top of this cottage cheese bowl! YUMMY!!!

- 1/3 Cup Fresh Strawberries, chopped
- 1 Tbsp Walnuts, chopped
- 1 – 2 Strawberry Shortcake Cookie
- 1/2 Tbsp Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips
